la région

During the Middle Ages, Langoiran was a centre of power in the Duchy of Aquitaine, and evidence for Langoiran’s past strategic importance can still be seen in its impressive 13th century castle. As a major exporter of Bordeaux wines, Langoiran was a busy port from the 15th to the 19th century, and as a still thriving centre for the region’s viticulture it is a place of pilgrimage for wine-lovers.

For wine connoisseurs the pedigree of Bordeaux is unrivalled as the home of legendary châteaux such as Margaux, Latour, and Lafitte-Rothschild. A recently revived addition to the distinctive appellations of Bordeaux is Domaine de Bellevue, a name destined to take its place amongst the region’s finest wines. For those who share a passion and appreciation for great wine, the name Domaine de Bellevue will instill a deep sense of excitement and anticipation.
